How to find us

Rail

There are frequent direct trains from London Paddington to Oxford and also links via Birmingham, Reading and Didcot. The station is 3 miles from the CCRG offices. Allow 15 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes by bus (no 13 and then no 15 changing on High St). Train times are available from Network Rail.

Bus

The Service 15 from the city centre comes closest to the Old Road campus. Services 8 and 9 stop in Headington which is a 10-15 minute walk away. More information is available on the Oxford Bus Company website.

Coach

There are frequent services from London Victoria Station and from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, these are operated by Oxford Bus and stop in Headington Centre.

Car

Parking on the Old Road Campus is very restricted and is by permit only. Exceptionally, with good warning, a permit may be booked though this does not guarantee a space. Parking in surrounding roads is almost entirely resident permit holders only. If you are arriving by car please use the Park and Ride service.

The nearest Park and Ride car park is Thornhill on the A40. The 400 service runs every 15 minutes from Thornhill to Seacourt via Headington and Oxford City centre. There is a 15 minute walk from Headington to the Old Road Campus. The 600 Hospital Service runs every 30 minutes from Thornhill to the Churchill Hospital and stops at the entrance driveway to the Old Road Campus.

More information is available on the Park and Ride website

Reception

The reception for the Childhood Cancer Research Group is in the Rosemary Rue Building. On arrival at the Old Road Campus please follow signs to the Rosemary Rue Building reception.
